Combined pack of custom made highway/road prefabs to make custom roads for your maps!

Categories: , ,

Description

This is a prefab pack of modular components that can be used to create a custom highway network on your map! The modules consist of both 2 lane and 4 lane modules for ramps, curves, exits, merges, and straight sections. The highway network is about as optimized as I could make it, but it does use a lot of prefabs, so I suggest only using the modules for intersections, bridges, and monuments, connecting them with the road path tool. This way, you can use less prefabs to cover more distance. Suggested road width is 11.

The modules are centered on the global grid snap, so modules can be easily fitted together by simply snapping them into place with the global grid. Each module is precisely scaled and measured to be a multiple of exactly 3 meters in length, so making complex intersections like the 4-way interchange, pictured, is fairly easy to do with precision.

The modules include:
Four Lane Highway 45 Degree Turn Wide
Four Lane Highway 90 Degree Turn Sharp
Four Lane Highway Merge to Two Lane
Four Lane Highway Split Left 6300
Four Lane Highway Split Right 6300

Prefab FAQ – How do I host this .zip/.7z file I just purchased on my server?

• First, you want to unzip the file. You can do so by just double-clicking it to open, then drag the contents to the desired location (you may need to install an external unzipping software if you don’t already have one)
• Next you will find either a structure of folders or just the .prefab files (it’s the important ones).
• You can then open your map via Rustedit (How to install Rustedit)
• Then install those .prefab files into your …/rustedit/CustomPrefabs folder
• Launch Rustedit and open your map and within the ‘Prefabs’ list you should see the new prefab/monument you downloaded once you search its name

Additionally, here’s a great video that easily covers adding monuments/prefabs to maps of your own!

• Installation is not included with any products on the site, however, if needed we may assist if you reach out to our support.

Currently all products on Lone.Design will be contained within a zipped file which is the .7z or .zip that you see. I believe windows 10 and up can unzip on its own without 3rd party tools, but in that case, if you’re unfamiliar with zipped files here are 2 programs I recommend to easily unzip zipped files.
