Drop Event

Drop Event is a plugin that I have been using on my server for several years now.
It’s a very popular event because it encourages PVP.
It’s not even about the loot anymore, but about the fun, as the whole server gathers at one point.

I have completely reworked this plugin so that there is a config and all the necessary things so that you can use it easily.
Pictures speak louder than words, so I’ve picked out an old video for you.

 

Functions

It is important that you have MonumentFinder.
DropEvent is dependent on the API!

You can start the DropEvent command:

To use the command, you need the authorization:

Instead of "Drop Event:" "Drop Event:" is now displayed to ensure consistency. ➔ | Changed how the drop event message is output to all players. The monument name has been changed from "monumentName" to "Launchsite" to be more specific. ➔ | Improved error handling has been added. If the AirDrop prefab is not found, an error message is thrown and the method exits. Likewise, the method terminates if no suitable monument is found.

  2. So on my server all airdrops thrown have NO SMOKE when throwing the Supply Signal using Vehicle Airdrops plugin.

    But for some reason your DropEvent still uses all the smoke, this is quite laggy since I have it throw 30 signals. Could you add a way to disable the Smoke from your event?

    • I don’t know the Vehicle Airdrops plugin and can’t say what is causing the problem.
      Since I’m on a tour of Asia in a few days until the end of July, I won’t be able to make it.

      But I can put it on my to-do list for future updates.

  3. will not let me use any commands “you do not have permissions to use this command” im ownerid auth 2 so i should have access to it correct? help lol

    • I am sorry that you had to wait. Your question was only approved today and I can only answer it now, so I always ask you to open a ticket in the Discord my Discord is linked in the description!

      You have to give yourself the authorization first! This is usual and is also required for other plugins!

Plugin FAQ – How do I use this .zip/.7z file I just purchased on my server?

• First, you want to unzip the file. You can do so by just double-clicking it to open, then drag the contents to the desired location (you may need to install an external unzipping software if you don’t already have one such as 7zip or winrar)
• Next you will find either a structure of folders or just the .cs file itself (it’s the actual plugin file itself).
• After that just install the .cs (plugin file) into your …/oxide/plugins/ folder where you will install plugins you ever need to.

• Installation is not included with any products on the site, however, if needed we may assist if you reach out to our support.

Currently all products on Lone.Design will be contained within a zipped file which is the .7z or .zip that you see. I believe windows 10 and up can unzip on its own without 3rd party tools, but in that case, if you’re unfamiliar with zipped files here are 2 programs I recommend to easily unzip zipped files.
