About EventsManager

The “EventsManager” plugin is a versatile tool designed for Rust game servers. It provides a system to manage and schedule various in-game events with ease. Developed by senyaa & M&B-Studios, this plugin offers the ability to organize events such as Air Events, Water Events, Arctic Base Events, Satellite Dish Events, Junkyard Events, Power Plant Events, and more.

Features:

•The plugin supports multiple events, each with customizable settings.

•Events can have distinct display names, associated commands, and colors for UI buttons.

•Events can be scheduled to run on specific days and hours.

•The plugin includes a command to launch events, giving server admins flexibility.

•The “EventsManager” plugin enhances player engagement by introducing regular events to the Rust game environment. With a straightforward interface, server administrators can effortlessly manage event scheduling and execution.

Command and Permission:

Once the plugin is activated on the server, the following commands can be used:

/em: This command allows administrators or users to set up everything, such as which event to start, when the event should begin, and on which day.

/newevent  you can add missing events according to your own preferences. Customize your event to your liking and make the Event Manager an even more versatile tool for your needs.

eventmanager.convert.v2  Migrates V2 data to V3 (console only)

New Features:

Random Event Start: With this update, we’ve introduced an exciting feature that adds even more variety to the gameplay experience. Now you can add multiple events, and the plugin will randomly select an event to start. This adds a new dimension of surprise and challenge to the game environment.

Addition of Facepunch Events: We’ve listened to user feedback and are proud to announce that we’ve integrated the popular Facepunch events into the plugin. These well-known events will make the gameplay experience even more dynamic and provide extra fun.

Permission:

eventsmanager.use: Anyone with this permission can open the menu and access the event management features.

Added: EventsManagerNotifier Plugin

Introduced a new plugin named EventsManagerNotifier. This plugin enables administrators to activate chat notifications for Facepunch. Configuration options are customizable to tailor notifications to individual preferences.

Easy to use for supported events but I do wish it supported custom maps and more events like heavy oil and heavy cargo. Also, I wish it was shown on lone.desin for plugin trackers for updates. I am not sure if it has a way to add event to this or not, the documentation and config don’t appear to have a way but that could be my lack of research into it.

the best tool for all events, and you can set up not only events but also use them as a planner)) I’m very pleased that you can configure all events on the server so that they do not overlap with each other or build an excellent chain of events!

  1. im a bit confused, when this compiled it showed other authers then cashr, i believe the authers from the version on codefling. yet when i go there they updates dont match up..

  2. I prefer the old UI that had the weekly “calendar” view. I could easily rotate the times each day for each plugin. The new UI is clunky.

  3. Morning, i noticed this on my console now, it appears it wants to start a event now 10times at the same time.

  4. Hello, I just installed your wonderful plugins but immediately got an error. Failed compiling ‘/home/container/carbon/plugins/E ventManagerNotifier.cs 1. ‘List’ does not contain a definition for ‘FirstOrDefault’ and no accessible extension method ‘FirstOrDefault’ a accepting a first argument of type ‘List’ could be found (are you m issing a using directive or an assembly reference? 5. Hi, i have 9 different events set on random, to span events between 30m and 60m. Everything works fine for a few hours, then all it does is spane oil rig and large oil rig for last 15 hours. I’ve tested this a few times and its always the same outcome. Any ideas why?

Plugin FAQ – How do I use this .zip/.7z file I just purchased on my server?

• First, you want to unzip the file. You can do so by just double-clicking it to open, then drag the contents to the desired location (you may need to install an external unzipping software if you don’t already have one such as 7zip or winrar)
• Next you will find either a structure of folders or just the .cs file itself (it’s the actual plugin file itself).
• After that just install the .cs (plugin file) into your …/oxide/plugins/ folder where you will install plugins you ever need to.

Additionally, here’s a great video that easily covers adding a plugin to your server if you need! https://youtu.be/yWC_p97FhQA

• Installation is not included with any products on the site, however, if needed we may assist if you reach out to our support.

Currently all products on Lone.Design will be contained within a zipped file which is the .7z or .zip that you see. I believe windows 10 and up can unzip on its own without 3rd party tools, but in that case, if you’re unfamiliar with zipped files here are 2 programs I recommend to easily unzip zipped files.

Winrar https://www.rarlab.com (I used to use for years, but works great!)
7zip https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z2107-x64.exe (the one I use currently)
