Description
A fully custom heli tower.
This heli tower is, of course, invincible. It is a great way to provide your players with a heli tower thus discouraging them from building their own (which can save thousands of entities from having player-built heli towers all over the map)
Notable features:
– Small flat footprint for easy placement on any map
– Tower base extends into the terrain to provide easy placement opportunities even if the terrain is not flat
– Cube prefabs utilized in the majority of construction to keep server and client performance smooth
– Electronic front door
– Zipline mount points on two sides of the top
– Full lighting system activated by a switch on the base level control panel
– Emergency ladder shaft to go up or down from the shooting floors instead of using the elevator (also great if there is an issue with the RustEdit.dll and your electronics stop working, can still use the ladder
– 3x huge shooting floors with cover to hide behind
– All shooting floors are walled in glass with open slights similar to an embrasure
I will keep these prefabs up to date as more ideas come in or any bugs are found.

Version History
- Removed Removed most electronics due to constant changes in Rust prefabs causing some electronics to move location or rotate.
- Removed Elevator removed due to new issue that can kill players using it
- Updated Closed off elevator shaft
- Fixed A few very minor texture flickers
- Removed Numerous prefabs that throw LOD errors when booting the server (example: Chocolate Green Egg used to make the green lines on the radar screen)
- Fixed Fixed a few prefabs that were moved due to FP changing the location of their center point
- Fixed Re-worked the inner IO workings to be more efficient and use less entities.
- Updated Connected the lighting system to a day/night cycle. Also contains a switch on the bottom floor to manually turn on at any time of day.
- Added New version added without any IO entities. This version is for servers that are concerned with performance or do not run the RustEdit.dll extension for custom electronics.
- Added Embedded top tier square floors to lure heli to attack shooting floors (something changed recently where heli would only hit player build pieces with rockets. This is a confirmed fix in live game play)
- Removed Removed auto turrets
- Removed Removed some unnecessary electronics
- Updated Revamped the windows to provide a little less protection, it was too easy to take heli
- Added Added Zipline launch points to roof
- Fixed Changed out door type as the previous doors were allowing players to place locks on them.
- Removed - Removed auto turrets due to issues with turrets attacking players in certain PVE situations (note: old version still has turrets, future releases will contain a turret version and no turret version)
- Removed - Removed electronics tied to auto turrets
- Fixed - Reworked auto turret "discs" to better fit the simple lights left behind after removal of turrets.
- Added - Added more heaters on middle shooting floor for cold weather placement
- Added - Reversed shooting floor doors to swing outwards instead of inwards
- Removed - Removed telephone and siren (man players can be annoying sometimes hehe)
- Removed - Removed picture frame

The elevator has been removed. We were not getting that error but ours was killing players in some situations. The constant issues with elevators over the years just is not worth the risk anymore.

With the new Rust update all the heaters have rotated 90 degrees.

Sadly those were not the only electronics being flipped or just completely moved due to changes in core Rust prefabs. We stripped down a lot of the electronics. Most players rarely used them anyways. If cold becomes an issue at your tower (we like to let the players suffer on our server haha, sort of a trade off for having an invincible tower) you can place a comfort volume prefab or heat volume prefab around your tower.

Prefab FAQ – How do I host this .zip/.7z file I just purchased on my server?
• First, you want to unzip the file. You can do so by just double-clicking it to open, then drag the contents to the desired location (you may need to install an external unzipping software if you don’t already have one)
• Next you will find either a structure of folders or just the .prefab files (it’s the important ones).
• You can then open your map via Rustedit (How to install Rustedit)
• Then install those .prefab files into your …/rustedit/CustomPrefabs folder
• Launch Rustedit and open your map and within the ‘Prefabs’ list you should see the new prefab/monument you downloaded once you search its name
Additionally, here’s a great video that easily covers adding monuments/prefabs to maps of your own!

• Installation is not included with any products on the site, however, if needed we may assist if you reach out to our support.
Currently all products on Lone.Design will be contained within a zipped file which is the .7z or .zip that you see. I believe windows 10 and up can unzip on its own without 3rd party tools, but in that case, if you’re unfamiliar with zipped files here are 2 programs I recommend to easily unzip zipped files.

Looks cool. Works awesome. If you run a PVE server with NPC’s/Zombies, there’s an extra little surprise. Had to take hours and hours to build and test. Totally worth it.

Players love this tower, it’s basically our most popular “monument”. The decor is visually immersive, and the electronics provide fun interaction with the tower itself (automated guns, elevator vs. ladder, buttons for entry, etc.) We’ve seen a huge reduction in wasteful empty “heli towers”. Instead, players flock to this tower for their heli fights!
Looking forward to future updates, can’t wait to see what else they think up.

Beautifully built! No more need for my players to waste time building a heli tower that’ll get blown up. 10/10
