While some of this is speculative, we aim to provide the most accurate information possible however anything and everything from this article is subject to change!

Graphics and Visuals

  • Mirror2023: Developers are improving mirror and reflection graphics. This could bring more realism to in-game environments.
  • Halloween Commits: Multiple commits related to new items like the Dracula Cape and enhancements to existing elements. These are likely in preparation for Halloween.
  • Outpost Redesign: The Outpost within the game is undergoing a redesign.

Gameplay Mechanics

  • Rail Network: Several updates are being made to the rail network, which includes enhancements to train tunnel entrances and pathfinding algorithms. Likely to connect the entire system together from both above and underground to improve usability perhaps!
  • Bow Offset Fix: Looks like the team is addressing issues with bow mechanics, aiming for more accurate and smoother gameplay.
  • Wire Tool Reconnect: Enhancements to wire tool.
  • Global Networked Bases: A feature that was briefly released and tested before has continued work in preparation for a future update.
  • Brutalist Base Skin: This skin was previously for the top-tier HQM base, however, it’s now switched to be a stone base skin. Far more fitting in my opinion.

User Experience

  • Cached Server Browser: An improved server browsing experience is in the works, possibly making it quicker and more efficient for players to find and join servers.
  • Tutorial Island: A newbie-friendly zone is being developed, which I expect could help retain first-time players and improve the overall user experience.
