Description
Battlefront
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away imperial armed forces invaded in the rust island. After the arrival imperial forces ruined a huge amount of civilisation facilities, they showed no mercy, and the life was almost exterminated, however not every habitant was killed. A little bit later valiant dwellers of the island started to develop with the velocity of light, they unified into several clans and repelled the imperial forces. The clans were able to destroy the main invaders’ troops, but there were too many of them. Now, the fate of the Rust island depends only on you, the Warrior. We wish you good luck on the battlefield! If you want even more space atmosphere, then I recommend you the Space plugin from the developer Adem

You can do this in our Discord server by submitting a request for an invitation to our servers. There you will be given the rights of an “administrator” and without any difficulties you will be able to fly around the map and fully familiarize yourself with it.

Map FAQ – How do I host this .zip/.7z file I just purchased on my server?
• First, you want to unzip the file. You can do so by just double-clicking it to open, then drag the contents to the desired location (you may need to install an external unzipping software if you don’t already have one)
• Next you will find either a structure of folders or just the .map file itself (it’s the important one).
• Once the .map is uploaded to dropbox simply copy the share link attached to it.
• You will first start off by uploading the .map file to an online hosting provider, I’ll include dropbox since it’s easy to get started with.
• Once you’ve copied the link paste it into your server’s startup .bat (batch) file. (You can leave the worldsize/seed. Custom maps override proc gen parameters)
• Example “levelurl “https:// www dropbox dot com/s/sdfagbragae/testmapname.map?dl=1”
• Make SURE the dl=0 at the end is changed to dl=1 otherwise players won’t be able to join!
• Now just start your server and it’ll boot right up! Below I’ll attach a video that goes more in-depth on hosting custom maps vs proc gen maps since it’s a tad different

• Installation is not included with any products on the site, however, if needed we may assist if you reach out to our support.
• If the product contains a plugin file (.cs) it’s advised to have it installed prior to booting your server with the map you purchased
Currently all products on Lone.Design will be contained within a zipped file which is the .7z or .zip that you see. I believe windows 10 and up can unzip on its own without 3rd party tools, but in that case, if you’re unfamiliar with zipped files here are 2 programs I recommend to easily unzip zipped files.

Every single map that Gruber makes is of exceptional quality. Also at every map players think this map is the greatest and will never be topped in quality. Then Battlefront came out, this map simply blew away every single map he’s ever made before. This map is an emotional rollercoaster. The amount of WOW, HOLY SH*T and THIS IS AWESOME! messages I’ve seen from my players is in amount so much higher than any other Gruber map I’ve ever ran on the server.
This map is Star Wars themed, and you can clearly tell that by almost every custom monument that was placed on the Map, Some of my personal favorites are among the Imperial Destroyer, Space Fighter Base, and Battle of Noth. Just exceptional quality custom monuments with care placed in perfect locations.
The only thing that my players are missing, but I’m not going to lower the stars because of that is the Gambling area from Bandit Camp. But that in itself is not important for me, to downgrade this review, especially because the review is supposed to be about the custom aspect of the map itself. That my friends is rather higher standards with this map. By far this is THE best Gruber map out there in this moment and time.
However, seeing what quality this man publishes, I’m sure another map will be better again soon!

Love this map we have it on the server and rusns verry smooth. The map is a bit on the higher side of the assest , But it runs verry smooth on a midrange spect server.
If u love startwars or a space vibe this is the map to go for.
Also the constand updates and adjustmends when needed is a big plus. So u always have a A+ map ready to play.

Superb map. Highly detailed. Very fun custom monuments. Support is great, you will need RustEdit dll in order to get everything to work correctly. Running this with BetterNPC with default settings just takes it over the top. Cant say enough, we’re going to run this next wipe as well and more than likely many more.

This map is phenomenal, the players loved it so much we used it twice in a row! The detail is really amazing and the monuments are brilliant. We even had players who changed their names to Star War characters!! Thanks Gruber, you are a true artist.

Love the map; so do my regular players how ever I have not been able to run it for the last 3 forced wipes I’ve had to take it down because none of the placed player flame sources (camp fire, furnace’s, camp fire, refineries etc) produce charcoal and has chased a great number of player off my server because they could not craft ammo or boom with out it.

We ran that map on our server for our wipe on February.
That was the third map from Grubber that we installed after Monster Land and Forstland.
I was already hugely impressed by the quality of the two previous… but Battlefront is really something.
Better NPC configuration is perfect, puzzles are fantastic, decors are magical and monuments are majestic.
As usual, the support from Grubber (and the Mad Mappers crew) is always pleasant and reactive.

Great map but I’m worried that if I update now it’ll wipe everybody’s progress with the update. Do you know of a way to update without losing all the player progression?

If you love rust and star wars then this map is for you. get the plugins and just go for it. you wont be disappointed
