📦 BetterLoot Loot Table Config
This package includes a single, carefully balanced BetterLoot loot table, designed to provide a stable and predictable loot experience suitable for most server types, from lightly modded PvP to high-rate servers. Junk items have been heavily filtered out to ensure quality and consistency in all loot containers. However, please note that what may be considered “junk” for some players may still be valuable for others. This loot table is designed for general use, so certain items may vary in value depending on your server’s playstyle and community preferences.
This setup includes newly added items such as the Minigun, Minigun Backpack, and Military Flamethrower, ensuring your loot stays up-to-date with the latest Rust content.
BetterLoot provides a more stable and predictable loot system compared to AlphaLoot. Unlike AlphaLoot, it does not use percentage-based drop chances, making it simpler but less dynamic. If you’re looking for a more advanced, competitive loot system, check out our AlphaLoot configs on our profile.
⚠️ Please note: This is a standalone loot table for the BetterLoot plugin. It does not include AlphaLoot-style drop percentages or random chance mechanics.

- Added New items that do not disrupt the balance have been added in reasonable amounts: Metal Armor Insert has been added to Locked Crate containers at balanced rates. Asbestos Armor Insert and Lead Armor Insert have been added to military crates (dark green military boxes) in balanced amounts. The gather rate balance was taken into account. Since these items are powerful, for example, 2 Metal Armor Inserts were added for 2x gather configs. However, for 3x, 5x, 10x, and 100x BetterLoot configurations, the number of inserts may not scale directly with the gather rate. Especially in higher tier loot tables such as 5x, 10x, or 100x, game balance is prioritized—so instead of adding 100 Metal Armor Inserts for a 100x config, only 20 Inserts have been included.

- Added Potential bug-causing signal drop amounts related to signal supply have been fixed. If the issue persists, perform a clean installation. In my tests, no bugs occurred; however, some users have reported experiencing this bug. It may be caused by certain plugins or leftover old files from BetterLoot config, data, or lang folders. Therefore, a clean installation is recommended. Additionally, the plugin developer has been informed about this issue.

Hello, we believe electrical components should be in the loot table since our players really enjoy it. However, if you prefer, you can customize the config by visiting the website mentioned in the notepad file included in the setup, and remove electrical components from the boxes you don’t want them to appear in.

“not recommended – the loot is bugged, airdrop is non functional, and you cannot throw any airdrops looted from the crates. on top of this, crates are a minimum items of 5 in crate_normal_2 when vanilla is 2, causing all crates to have a bloated amount of items.”

However, everyone who uses this is satisfied, and the 2x loot table config has been successfully used on hundreds of servers. The potential spawn issue related to food crates was determined to be associated with users utilizing Carbon. I have provided the necessary information to the developer regarding this matter. Alternatively, if you need a quick solution and your servers are new, I recommend installing Oxide and using the loot table with it.
