Description

Raid Time Protection is a Rust plugin designed to provide players with a layer of protection against raids. This plugin introduces a system where raiding is only possible during specific times, allowing players to build and enjoy the game without the constant threat of raids.

Command:
Players can use the command /raid_date to check the status of raid protection.

Features:

  • RaidTimeProtection offers a time-based raid system, where raids are only possible during specific hours of the day. This system is customizable for each day of the week.
  • The plugin provides a global protection configuration, allowing server administrators to enable or disable the plugin, show alerts on state changes, and more.
  • RaidTimeProtection is compatible with the ZoneManager plugin. Server administrators can specify zones where the protection is disabled.
  • The plugin also allows server administrators to specify certain prefabs that are exempt from protection.
  • RaidTimeProtection includes a wipe protection feature, which provides a period of protection after a server wipe.

Configuration:
The configuration of RaidTimeProtection is handled through a JSON file. Here, server administrators can set the hours of protection, the duration of protection, and more for each day of the week. The configuration also includes settings for global protection and wipe protection.

Support:
The developer of RaidTimeProtection is available to answer any questions or address any issues you may encounter when using the plugin. Do not hesitate to reach out for support.

With RaidTimeProtection, enjoy a more relaxed Rust experience, knowing that your base is safe from raids during protected hours!

  1. I want to buy this, but I need a little more information. How does this time work? Like if I want to set it to only be able to raid between 4pm and 12am EST.

  2. Well, I bought this. I’m still confused on how this works. Like how do I set the time of the day? What does it all mean?

  3. Flute … I agree with the other 2 comments posted in here under Discussions. This is not exactly a self-explanatory configuration. I tried playing with times on this, and it doesn’t appear to work. If you have people telling you it doesn’t make sense, that would be something to consider.
IE. Why would you split up the hours and minutes if your using an 24 hour clock… couldn’t you just state PROTECTION OFF (24hr clock): 18:00 and then off duration in minutes. So 540 minutes would be no protection for 9 hours. Then at least state protection is enabled by default, admins can set when protection is off. This way admins know, ok protection is ON always … but when do I want NO protection. I dunno man, I tried it the way I think it works because there is fck all for setup info, or details on what does what in the config and this doesn’t work unless someone wants raid protection on all the time. Prove me wrong M8, help your buyers out. ;)

Plugin FAQ – How do I use this .zip/.7z file I just purchased on my server?

• First, you want to unzip the file. You can do so by just double-clicking it to open, then drag the contents to the desired location (you may need to install an external unzipping software if you don’t already have one such as 7zip or winrar)
• Next you will find either a structure of folders or just the .cs file itself (it’s the actual plugin file itself).
• After that just install the .cs (plugin file) into your …/oxide/plugins/ folder where you will install plugins you ever need to.

Additionally, here’s a great video that easily covers adding a plugin to your server if you need! https://youtu.be/yWC_p97FhQA

• Installation is not included with any products on the site, however, if needed we may assist if you reach out to our support.

Currently all products on Lone.Design will be contained within a zipped file which is the .7z or .zip that you see. I believe windows 10 and up can unzip on its own without 3rd party tools, but in that case, if you’re unfamiliar with zipped files here are 2 programs I recommend to easily unzip zipped files.

Zipping/Unzipping Tools
Winrar https://www.rarlab.com (I used to use for years, but works great!)
7zip https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z2107-x64.exe (the one I use currently)
